You will drive under the "CLOVER HILL RANCH" archway and down a long drive way. At the end of the driveway there will be a sign with a number to contact. At this point stop and call the number displayed - CARETAKER Steve - 0467 149 610 he will meet you or direct you to your campsite.
If Steve is unavailable please contact Ursula 0457 007 050. If you don't get through immediately please leave a message - Ursula maybe on a horses back, or chasing a mad cow.
-
There is no physical reception we are it!
At the moment we are a 'mobile' reception - until the Brewery is built.
This is why we ask visitors to call when they arrive at the "Stop Caretaker" sign at the end of the long drive way BEFORE entering the campgrounds. We will arrange to meet you, and direct you to your site.
Presently owners Steve & Ursula are self-managing their campgrounds during our quieter periods.
"We ask you to be patient as you will understand when you get to know us that the campgrounds is not our only venture ;)"
-
Yes, we are the closest campgrounds to Chinchilla town centre.
Walking/riding distance, depending on your fitness level. There is a walking track into town. At our main entrance turn left, go to the end of the street and there is the Riverside walkway that brings you a block or two away from Heeney street. Or you can continue to the Rotary park on the Warrego Hwy.

Pre-booking of sites and extras can be made and paid for via our website with credit card or EFTPOS.

Yes, because our campgrounds are set on 35 acres nearly all of our sites have the ability to drive through.
With the exception of peak periods, where by sites will be allocated, and some of these may require you to back in or fit into a particular space.
-
Yes it will.
The entrance to the campgrounds is deceivingly narrow. Don't let that deter you. We have had large machinery, semi trucks & trailers, 30ft caravans, tour buses etc enter our campgrounds.
And once through the gates there is 35 acres to turn around on.

No, not at this campgrounds.
Two reasons -
1. water conservation is one of our main priorities after experiencing several droughts.
2. Biosecurity - it increases the likelihood of weed seed spread, therefore you are not meeting your "General Biosecurity Obligation" (breach of the Biosecurity Qld Act 2014).
There is a commercial car wash near by, in town on the Warrego highway.
