CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
We understand that plans can change. Please respect that we are a small business and the weather, and your individual circumstances are out of our control.
Please review our cancellation policy carefully before making your reservation:
Cancellations (Powered and Unpowered Camping bookings):
More than 90 days’ notice before check-in
- Refund minus a $30 administration fee appliesTwo (2) to twelve (12) weeks’ notice before check-in
- No refund
- Receive credit for amount paid, minus a $30 administration fee (credit valid for 12 months*)Less than two (2) weeks notice before check-in or No-Shows

$25/pn pet cleaning fee applied at time of booking to Cabin bookings
ALL non-arrivals or stay cut short – NO refund or credit applies
ALL long weekend, public holidays, specialty events and school holiday - powered, unpowered, Cabin bookings cancelled with less than 120 days notice – NO refund or credit applies
Cancellations must be received in writing (email)
*All credits and reservation changes are subject to availability.
Changes to Reservations
One-time date change allowed at least 14 days before arrival, subject to availability
Additional changes may incur a $20 rescheduling fee
Weather & Emergency Policy
No refunds for bad weather unless the campground is officially closed
If closure occurs, a full 12-month credit will be issued
In the event of Government lockdowns that affect future bookings no refunds will be issued however credits will be considered
Using Your Credit
*Credits are valid for 12 months from the original reservation date, provide new booking details via email and follow up with a phone call
Non-transferable, only one time change for new booking date. Subsequent bookings changes forfeit use of credit
Can be applied toward any site type or season - sites subject to availability (some blackout dates may apply)
Rates are subject to change - credit will be applied to rates that are applicable for the rescheduled date Note: A difference maybe due for the new booking

SAFETY
THE SAFETY OF ALL FAMILIES AND ESPECIALLY CHILDREN HERE AT CHARLEYS CREEK CAMPGROUNDS IS THE HIGHEST PRIORITY. ANYONE CHOOSING NOT TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES AND POLICIES WILL BE FORCED TO VACATE THE PARK IMMEDIATELY WITH NO REFUND.
WATER ACTIVITIES
A lifeguard or other responsible person does not supervise the water facilities (creek) at Charleys Creek Campgrounds. Your participation in any water activity is done at your own risk. Life jackets are supplied with each kayak. If you notice any problem with the equipment or absence of water rescue equipment, please notify us at once.
SWIMMING, RENTAL EQUIPMENT, ACTIVITIES, OUTDOOR SPORTS SAFETY RULES
NEVER SWIM ALONE. A minimum of two adults, 18 years or older must be present whenever near creek. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION.
A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 years of age.
I understand that there is no lifeguard on duty at this campground.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages and swim or participate in water sports.
Swim in creek at your own risk. Diving or jumping into the water is strictly prohibited. Beware of snakes.
No Bike Riding after dark. All bikers 16 & under must wear bike helmets.
PET POLICY
Owners are required to clean up after their pets. All dogs must be current with inoculation shots and leashed at all times. When tied to your camper, dogs must be secured by a strong leash that does not extend off the site in any directions, not tied to a tree. Pets are not allowed inside or outside any rental units. Do not leave dogs unattended at any time. Dogs must not chase or harass stock or wildlife. Aggressive or barking dogs are not tolerated. Dogs are not permitted to go into any buildings or swimming areas. Dogs with a history of aggressive behaviour are not allowed in the campground. Dogs are not permitted in food preparation/eating areas.
GREY WATER DISPOSAL
Help us protect our environment and keep the campground clean for everyone.

• ✅ Use the designated grey water disposal point – ask our team if you’re unsure
• ✅ Use eco-friendly, biodegradable soaps and detergents
• ✅ Make sure hoses and containers are leak-free and secure

• ❌ Never discharge grey water into creeks, storm water drains, or waterways
• ❌ Don’t leave grey water tanks or containers open — they can attract pests and harm wildlife.

PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION POLICY
Charleys Creek Campgrounds does not allow mini-bikes, motorized scooters, nor allow children to drive any type of motorized vehicles. Operators must have a valid driver’s license.
QUIET TIME HOURS
10PM - 7AM MONDAY - SUNDAY QUIET TIME IS STRICTLY ENFORCED; VIOLATORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE CAMPGROUND WITHOUT A REFUND.
CAMPFIRES
CAMPFIRES CAN NEVER BE UNATTENDED; ALL CAMPFIRES MUST BE EXTINGUISHED AT MIDNIGHT. Please be vigilant when using open fires. Be safe, use rocks or pits provided to contain, have at least 20L water on hand when fire is going, make sure they are fully extinguished before you leave. Abide by fire bans when in place.
WILDLIFE/FARM ANIMALS
Avoid all contact with wildlife and farm animals, and do not feed them.
Please don’t feed the horses, you could cause them to become very ill. If you want to help in some way, donate a bale of Lucerne. This will be fed out to the horses at their set feed times. Thank you.
There is a ‘pet’ magpie that resides at Clover Hill Ranch – please do not feed him as magpies have a very specific diet. Also, make sure foodstuff is away or covered as he is a bit of a thief and is known to make himself at home.
ALCOHOL
CLOVER HILL ALLOWS THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON YOUR CAMP SITE ONLY, and never in any buildings, roads, pool area or any common areas of the park. Driving a motorized vehicle, including car, trucks, and golf carts, while under the influence of alcohol or while consuming alcohol is not allowed at any time within the Clover Hill Ranch property.
POTABLE WATER (TOWN WATER)
Potable water (town water) is available at the kitchen facility and amenities block. Please use it conservatively.
KITCHEN FACILITIES
Feel free to use the Kitchen/BBQ facilities. These are to be left in clean condition at all times for all visitors to utilise. Please notify management if the gas bottle is close to empty or empty. Power points and lights are throughout the kitchen facility and amenities. Please use these as needed.
RUBBISH
Ensure your camp is kept clean and tidy, with all rubbish placed in green wheelie bins. It would be appreciated if you can take as much rubbish with you as there is only a weekly service to this location.
Place refundable cans/bottles into designated bin – funds are donated to local charities.
All other recyclables into wheelie bin with yellow lid.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Charleys Creek Campgrounds to photograph the visitors while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE
In conjunction with your use of the Clover Hill Ranch facility the undersigned acknowledges that this is an open, outdoor park that provides staffing for administrative and guest services based on occupancy. Charleys Creek Campgrounds does not provide emergency service personnel. In the event of an emergency, you must call 000 and report your call to Charleys Creek Campground Management. Emergency numbers are listed on the wall in the BBQ area.
